Why is my Kaff cooktop flame yellow instead of blue?
Yellow flame means incomplete combustion — the gas jet is partially blocked and not mixing enough air with gas. This is not just a performance issue; yellow flames produce carbon monoxide. A jet clean usually restores a clean blue flame in one visit.
My Kaff cooktop clicks but no flame comes. What is wrong?
Clicking with no flame almost always means the spark electrode is misaligned or the burner cap is wet or dirty. The gas is reaching the burner — it just cannot ignite. This is a 10 to 15 minute fix in most cases, not a part replacement.
Is a small gas smell near my Kaff cooktop normal?
No. A faint smell with knobs turned off means a valve seal has worn and gas is escaping slowly. Turn off the gas cylinder, ventilate the kitchen, and do not use the cooktop until the valve has been inspected and replaced.
Can a cracked glass surface be repaired or does it need full replacement?

A Kaff cooktop sits on the counter as a standalone unit. A Kaff hob is flush-fitted into the counter. Burner mechanisms are similar, but cooktops have exposed jet assemblies that clog more easily from liquid spillage running down the sides.
